Prerequisite: Instructor permission. Students study great directors and the screenplays they have produced, focusing on analyzing story structure, characters, and theme of screenplays that compose the established canon. Directors include Spielberg, Kubrick, Hitchcock, Wilder, Allen and Tarantino. Offered spring only.
