Course Description
Prerequisites: Graduate status; English or English Education major or permission of instructor. Selected aspect of literary culture in the United States from the colonial period through the twentieth century; literary movements and periods, intercultural relationships, and the influence of religious and philosophic ideas upon literature; focus upon selected areas and key figures. Offered occasionally.
