Prerequisite: Junior or senior standing or instructor permission. Recent developments in American constitutional law; comparison of the Warren, Burger, Rehnquist, and Roberts courts; First Amendment liberties and rights; the rights of the accused and criminal due process; equal protection and African Americans; reapportionment and representation; the president and national security.
