WRITING IEPS ACROSS THE P-12 GRADE SPAN
Course Description
Prerequisite: EXE 100 and EXE 221 (minimum grades of C); SCE major status; minimum 2.6 cumulative GPA. Create and implement effective and legally compliant Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) which provide services and supports to learners with disabilities, ages 3-21. Key concepts include relevant legislation and NYS mandates, best practices in IEP development, and the importance of transition planning at all ages. Offered every semester.
