Course Description

Prerequisites: Admission to early childhood education program and EDU 543.Theoretical basis of early care and education for infants and toddlers. Examination of key issues in establishing appropriate care and learning environments, research-based caregiving strategies, appropriate curriculum and assessments, and cultural issues affecting group care. Clinical fieldwork required.
