Prerequisites: CNS 630 and CNS 631. Corequisite: CNS 633.
History and theory of basic techniques in paper conservation (washing, deacidification/neutralization, tape removal, lining, adhesives, compensation of losses, formats for storage, etc.); hands-on practice of these and other techniques on mock-ups.
